Welcome to Mountain View Elementary library. My main mission is to help our students realize how much enjoyment and satisfaction they can get from reading. Reading opens many new worlds to explore.
Students visit the library for many different reasons. Whatever the reason, the library plays a key role in each child's education. I work closely with classroom teachers to not only teach my curriculum but to reinforce theirs' as well.
Some of the many uses of Mountain View's library include -
Bookfair Checkout Classes Completion of Assignments Display of Student Work/Projects Knowledge Master Team "The Reading Ladies" Reading Programs Remediation Research Skill development Student Volunteers Visiting Authors/Illustrators 21st Century as well as many countless other activities |

I enjoy teaching children to feel comfortable finding their way around the library, exploring finding new books and new information, and opening their worlds. It is a real joy to share in students' constant amazement!
Thanks and happy reading!!
